Split Solar Collector
SHC-SSC
A solar collector absorbs solar energy and converts it into heat. Each tube individually absorbs a large amount of solar energy and transfers it into the copper manifold at the top of the collector via heat pipes. The heat is absorbs by a heating fluid such as water or a mixture or water and glycol which then is used to heat water in a heat exchanger.
