Solar Water Heating
Solar water heating (solar thermal) systems work by absorbing solar energy and converting it into thermal energy in order to heat water, air or any other fluid. This process is done using evacuated tubes. Each tube absorbs 96% of the sun's rays and converts them into heat. Each tube works individually to heat the solar collector. The solar collector can reach temperature of 200 degrees C and higher.
Once the heat is generated it is transferred to a heating fluid which is then used to heat the desired fluid. When heating domestic hot water, the heated water is stored to be used when called upon. In the case of pool and hot tub heating the pool or hot tub water is heating by the heating fluid directly in a heat exchanger.
